Barbara Mihók
Ecologist and mental health professional
I believe that the path to a good life is through meaningful relationships with each other and with nature. I work to help clients thrive through the experience of connecting with their bodies, nature and each other. The experience of 'being in the body' (embodiment) is fundamental to this process and therefore plays an important role in my work.

My approach
Client-centred and humanistic approach
In line with the approach established by the humanistic psychologist Carl R. Rogers, we work together to focus on your particular worldview, values and individual experiences. We build the process around your needs and experiences in order to help you discover and understand yourself, and to facilitate self-acceptance and positive change in your life.
Empathy, acceptance and congruency are central to my approach. I will strive to get to know and understand your feelings and thoughts as deeply as possible. In the interests of open communication and authenticity, I will not hide my own feelings and reactions.
Body-psychotherapy
Body-psychotherapy is a therapeutic approach that focuses on the relationship between body and mind, based on the interaction of bodily sensations, symptoms and mental processes. Exploring these will help you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your emotional processes, and to develop a closer relationship with your own body, thus improving your emotional and mental well-being. Eco-therapy
Ecotherapy is a therapeutic approach that uses contact with and presence in nature to improve mental health and promote psychological well-being.
Ecotherapy in other words is the healing of the reciprocal connection between human and nature.
